Corrosion Protection

Ardrox 2302 is a mixture of solvents, activators and corrosion inhibitors. It consists of two layers: an upper layer oil seal to prevent evaporation of the active paint removing solvents in the lower layer. Ardrox 2302 contains no phenolic compounds, aromatic solvents or heavy metals. Ardrox 2302 will remove a wide range of paint schemes including baked acrylics, epoxies, polyurethanes, and phenolics. It will also remove carbon or carbonaceous deposits, polymerized
gum and lacquer deposits.

ARDROX 311 long term corrosion preventive is a viscous mineral oil with corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. It will give long term storage protection to metal components, particularly under conditions of high humidity. ARDROX 311 is suitable for the lubrication and preservation of machine guns and small arms at a range of ambient temperatures, from -18?C upwards. It is also suitable for the preservation of internal combustion engines and engine components, small mechanisms, ball and roller bearings, instruments, phosphated iron and steel sheets and aluminium sheets.

ARDROX 3140 provides long term protection for raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished components, which are to be stored or used in corrosive environments. ARDROX 3140 provides a high standard of protection under conditions of high humidity and is therefore suitable for the protection of components, which are to be stored or transported in tropical climates.

Water soluble corrosion inhibitor. Ardrox 3705 is for addition to rinse waters to stop flash rusting of ferrous components. Up to 8 weeks in-door protection can be achieved. ARDROX 3705 is a water based inhibitor which has been specially formulated for addition to rinse water tanks to stop flash rusting of ferrous components. When added to rinse waters ARDROX 3705 can give protection to ferrous components under good indoor storage conditions for up to eight weeks.

Ardrox 396/1 E8 is a blend of surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and oil in a petroleum-based solvent. It is designed to have excellent dewatering and penetrating properties and will leave a thin, oily film on articles to which it is applied. This film will impart good corrosion protection. Ardrox 396/1 E8 is not recommended for outdoor storage protection. Other Ardrox products, e.g. Ardrox 3140, are available for long-term protection outdoors.

ARDROX 3966 is a mobile liquid consisting of surface active agents, oils and corrosion inhibitors.
It is designed to have excellent dewatering and penetration properties. ARDROX 3966 will displace water from all surfaces leaving a very thin oily film. A long-term corrosion protective such as Ardrox 3313 or Ardrox 3209 may be applied to components after they have been treated with ARDROX 3966 to give long-term protection against corrosion.

Ardrox 3968 is a corrosion inhibiting, dewatering fluid which will excellently displace fresh or salt water from metal surfaces. It contains a volatile solvent and when this has evaporated, a very thin oil film remains which gives protection to the metal surface.
